Compare and contrast.

Im going to talk about the similarities and the differences of two theories of the creation , The world in the turtle's back and Genesis.

SIMILARITIES
In both myths are similarities because both are talking about the creation of all we now for example in both they are talking that in the beginning there was nothing , no world , no land , no creatures of any kind , and there where no men .
also they relates because in both myths the man and the woman get carried away by desire and that makes them unveil.
and other similarity is that the woman has two childrens one that is evil and the other that is good.


DIFFERENCES
The difference was that in The world in the turtle's back myth talked of the existence of a man and a woman and in the genesis they say that God creates man and then woman . In génesis also says that when the men and woman unveil god they get out of heaven  and in the world in the turtle's back says that when they unfold the woman fell through a hole . Another diferrences is that in Bible there is one God and in the myth of Iroquois are many gods.

MY MOM

The person that i admire most is my mother, her name is Geobana Carmona she was born in Barranquilla in november 30 of 1979, she studied mechanical engineering and social work.  She is the person that i admire most because she alone has made sure that my sister and i do not miss anything , she had made the role of mother and father at the same time and that it's not easy. She works hard for our family to move foward and even though she arrived tired to the house because the lot of work she does , she is always there to help us and to be our support. REJECTION OF WOMEN IN SOME WORK FIELDS.

In this essay i'm going to talk about how is the rejection of women in some work fields, before i start im going to define what is women ,  is the word that refers to a female individual,Over the years women have been regarded as weak sex ,why? because long time ago the women had a very established roll that was to be the housewives and the man was the one who worked but one day the women began to think that they had the same capabilities as a man and it seemed unfair that the man was the one who worked, studied, etc ...so then started a revolution because women start to fight for their rights and for the gender equality, but that fight has lasted many years because it has not been easy, but today women are more included in aspects such as social, political and employment. But still the woman has not been included totally since there are jobs in which women still can not work or in other cases in which if she can work there is an inequality at the level of pay...

THE MODEST PROPOSAL

In this essay I'm going to talk about how two values justice and fairness are or aren´t in the story, before i start i want to write what this two values mean , justice is just behaviour or treatment and fairness is impartial and just treatment or behaviour without favouritism or discrimination , this two values are the same thing, i think that in the story ¨THE MODEST PROPOSAL¨ aren´t this values because the story is about overpopulation  in Ireland that brings a bad economical situation because there where a lot of poor people and Johnathan swift the author(main character) proposed a new strategy to end this economical situation , He proposes that since there are many poor children and parents who have nothing to offer, it is better for the government to buy the children from their parents, feed them and sell them as food to the people who have money.  i think that Swift have good intentions  because he wants to help but the solution he is giving it's not the rig...
